World Level Mentors
The mission of the University of Ibadan, Nigeria’s foremost University is to foster leaders and citizens who have integrity and are team players. That is the purpose of this Alumni page for former footballers of the University team, Hall team, and Faculty teams.
These people have had significant football accomplishments locally, nationally, and globally in the field of football. Some have come to be nationally recognised while some also bear global recognition with long and distinguished football careers behind them.
“They are to be model citizens, who can create the future from the past and the present. “Recte Sapere Fons”: UI students, in whatever field are “To think straight is the fount of knowledge”.
They are today’s students but tomorrow’s leaders.
When the stories of these former UI footballers are told, they will be marked with perseverance, endurance, and greatness.
These UItes are your common heroes who have, through hard work and integrity achieved some level of success in the field of football. Some have gone on to represent Nigeria at the highest level and they continue to be beacons for the present generation.
